Common questions
What is IGramAPI?
IGramAPI is a REST API that returns public Instagram data as JSON: profiles, posts, reels, stories, highlights, comments, hashtags, search results and audio. You send a request with your API key and get structured data back.
Is this the official Instagram API?
No. IGramAPI is independent and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. It complements the official Graph API by working from public information, so you can read accounts that have not connected to your app.
Do I need an Instagram account or the user's permission?
No. You only need an IGramAPI key. The accounts you look up never log in or authorize anything, because only information visible to the public is returned.
How does pricing work?
You buy credits. Most calls cost 1 credit (a profile, a page of posts, a reel). Comments cost 2, and stories, highlights and hashtag feeds cost 3 on paid plans. Credits renew every month, and failed requests are never charged.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 100 credits every month and 30 requests per minute, with no credit card. It covers every standard endpoint. Stories, highlights and hashtags need a paid plan.
Can I get data from private accounts?
No. Private accounts and non-public content are never available. You can read their public header details on the profile endpoint, nothing more.
How do I pay, and in which currency?
Prices are in Indian rupees (INR), and payments are processed by Razorpay. Paid plans can be a monthly subscription or a one-time 30-day pass at the same price.
Am I allowed to use the data?
You are responsible for using the data lawfully and in line with Instagram's terms, privacy law and the rights of creators. Read our Acceptable Use Policy before you build.
